For the last two years I have posted gift guides for our Montessori children, but this year I decided to do something a little fun in addition, gifts for the Montessori parents in your life! These gifts are perfect for a Montessori mom or dad, but they are also great for other parents in your life who might not practice Montessori. I find gifts for adults often a lot more challenging than gifts for children so I hope this is a helpful list.

Gifts for the New Montessori Parent

If you have a new parent in your life, these are the gifts for you!

  • The Montessori Baby: this book is the perfect gift for the new Montessori mom or dad in your life. It runs through how to practice Montessori at home with an infant.

  • Topponcino: this is the perfect gift for a new Montessori mom or dad in your life. We use it as a comfortable place for the baby. While I was pregnant I slept with it to get my scent on it. It is a great Montessori gift for a new parent in your life.

  • A water bottle: it is so important to stay hydrated but can be a struggle as a new parent! Everyone loves this water bottle and it is the perfect gift for a new mom or dad in your life. I will be buying it because I am in need of a new water bottle as well! I opted for the 40-ounce because between nursing a baby and running after a toddler, water is a must!

  • Airpods: These are a parenting must for me. I listen to audiobooks while putting my toddler to sleep or rocking my baby. They make those early days of constantly nursing so much easier.

  • Birth flower necklace: This necklace is gorgeous and is the perfect gift for a new mom. It allows you to stack multiple charms of your babies’ birth flowers. A gorgeous gift for the mom in your life.

  • Stackable bracelets: These are such a sweet way to carry your baby’s information with you in a stackable name and birth stat bracelet! This is a beautiful gift for a new (or not so new!) mom. These are also a lovely option!

  • You Hung the Moon: This book is perfect for all parents but has been especially valuable in those lonely nights alone with an infant. Warning: I cry every time I read it. Jess Urlichs writes beautiful poetry.

Gifts for Toddler Parents

If you’re looking for gifts for Montessori toddler parents, here’s the list for you!

  • The Montessori Toddler: this book is the perfect gift for the Montessori toddler parent in your life. It covers how to do Montessori at home with a toddler.

  • My Pouring Work mug: this mug is sure to make the toddler Montessori mom or dad in your life laugh. It is Montessori-themed but a cute play on it with the movable alphabet and an allusion to Montessori practical life work. Such a fun gift for a Montessori mom or dad. Need an on-the-go mug? This one is so cute too!

  • Matching aprons: this is the perfect gift for the Montessori mom or dad who loves to cook with their toddler! We have handmade matching aprons but these are so cute. The perfect gift for the Montessori mom or dad in your life.

Gifts for Babywearing

Note: I have a blog post with all my favorite carrier options. I am distilling down carriers to a way smaller list here, but check out that post for my top picks and why.

  • For the new parent: Sollybaby Wrap - this is my favorite way to babywear with a newborn. It keeps them close and snug and makes it easy to do things around the house. It is such a gorgeous and comfortable wrap. This is the perfect gift for a new parent.

  • For the babywearing mom: Baby Tula - I love the Baby Tula Linen carrier. It is comfortable and stylish in a simple linen print. This is great for everyday babywearing as your baby gets older too.

  • For the babywearing dad: Ergo Omni 360 - every parent is going to have a slightly different carrier preference, but I have found many men I know love the Ergo Omni 360 while their partners prefer other carriers. I find it is better for wider shoulders which makes sense for this preference for men. My husband likes this carrier. Again, see my full carrier reviews for more information though!

  • For the toddler parent: Baby Tula Toddler carrier - this is the perfect gift for the Montessori mom or dad in your life who now has a toddler who might need to be carried some. We used it with my toddler all around Asia and Australia this summer and I highly recommend it.

  • For the adventure parent: Deuter Kid Carry - if there is a parent in your life who loves to adventure, this is a great gift. It makes for a supportive babywearing option on longer hikes and backpacking trips.

  • For cold weather: babywearing jackets - I have a babywearing jacket and I highly recommend it as a gift for the mom or dad in your life. This year I am getting a babywearing jacket for my husband as well. Since he babywears my toddler more I opted for one that does back carry for him.

  • Seraphine Babywearing Coat: this is my babywearing coat. It is stylish and warm. I highly recommend it for a mom in your life!

  • Angel Wings Babywearing Jacket: this is the perfect gift for a Montessori dad! It is a men’s jacket (most babywearing jackets are made for women) and does both front and back carry. This is what I am getting for my husband this year. Code Ayelet gives a discount.

Gifts for the Montessori Home

These ideas make your life at home easier with babies and toddlers!

  • Instant Pot: This is a great gift for baby and toddler Montessori parents. It can be a great tool for cooking with your children too! They can help cut up vegetables and throw them in the pot. You don’t spend time cooking on the hot stove so more engagement and less time of them being unable to be involved!

  • Robot Vacuum: we love love our robot mop and vacuum. This makes life with little children so much easier by keeping the floor clean! It empties itself, mops and vacuums. Highly recommend! This has been life-changing in my life and I am sure will be the perfect gift for other moms and dads. I’ve tried a different robot vacuum before but this one is the best.

  • High Chair Catchy: with the theme keeping clean floors this is a gamechanger if you have a baby starting solids, especially baby led weaning. Make the mom or dad in your life’s life easier with this! Ayelet10 gives a discount!
